Judo for MMA – Takedown Counters

Judo often doesn’t get the attention that it deserves from MMA fighters and I’ve often thought that it has more to add to top level mixed martial arts than it currently does. I did study Judo myself for a couple of years but that was a while ago now and I’m a bit rusty on it, so I’ve been searching for good quality videos to highlight here. I’m sure I will add more later but I chose this one for know because it features a couple of really good counters to classic MMA takedown techniques, which I think is something else that is really under-utilised by almost all fighter – the sprawl really isn’t the only takedown defense as some people must think from the way that they fight. anyway, enough talk, here is the video:
